(a) Maldives Women’s Association maintains this web site (the “Site”) as a courtesy to those who may choose to access the Site (“Users”). The information presented herein is for informative purposes only.

(c). Members are prohibited, in the context of the Site’s use (to re-post Content taken from the Site on any social media), that is illegal or infringes public order or the values of Maldives Women’s Association as well as the rights of third parties and members.

(b) Not to disseminate content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, offensive, violent or inciting to violence, that is racist or xenophobic, promoting unconstitutional organizations or displaying the insignia of such organizations or ideas contrary to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights developed on the 10th of December 1948. Nor to disseminate Content that showcases or promotes political ideology, violence, is pornographic, sexist, harmful to minors, linked to transactions relating to narcotics, encourages or promotes the consumption of narcotics, encourages the commission of criminal offences, the practice of gambling, causes insult or defamation and in general any content that would be contrary to the laws and regulations in force or to morality; in conjunction with the Maldives Women’s Association, its staff and members.
(c) Not to do anything that could have the effect of preventing, limiting or disrupting the use of the Site, including by using automated processes such as robots or , by any means whatsoever, interrupting and/or slowing down the normal communication flow between.
(d) Not to use the Site or any of its content to broadcast or fundraise, including self-promotion, advertising of partners or corporations or political parties.
(e) Not to use the Site or any of its content to disseminate provocative opinions about an institution, party, political or trade union movement or religious community or any other community and, more generally, with the purpose or effect of creating unrest within political institutions, trade unions or a religious community or any other community; not to publish any content taken from the Site or in connection with the Maldives Women’s Association, that infringes the right to an individual's image or right to privacy
(f) Not to publish any Content that could damage the image or reputation of a brand or of a natural or legal person.
By way of example and not as a limitation, the User agrees that when using the Site, they shall not do any of the following:
(a) Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of Maldives Women’s Association staff, its member or parties present or participating in any event or project;
(b) Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information;
(c) Upload or attach files to the Site that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy and publicity) unless the User owns or controls the rights thereto or has received all consents therefor as may be required by law;
(d) Upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer; Falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded;
(e) Delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded;
(f) Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests or chain letters, or use the Maldives Women’s Association in way for political, personal or financial use on any forum, media or space.
The Maldives Women’s Association administers this Site. All Material on this Site from the Maldives Women’s Association appears subject to the present Terms and Conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the findings, interpretations and conclusions expressed in the Materials on this Site are those of the various Maldives Women’s Association staff members, consultants and advisers who prepared the work and do not necessarily represent the views of the Maldives Women’s Association.
